Valentine's Day Party

This year I decided to host a children's cookie decorating party to celebrate the holiday. And I must say, it was successful! We had over a dozen children here all decorating with icing, sprinkles, and tiny candies. After loading up on lots of sugar, the children took to the yard and played kick ball, colored with chalk, and finally played with a bucket of cold water and bubbles. After the kids went home and the party was cleaned up, our little family sat down together to open our Valentine's Day gifts from Kevin's parents. It was so nice to celebrate this holiday together as a family and with our beloved friends. Here are a few photos for your viewing pleasure:

Prayer and Praise Column

Praises:

-Things are settling down in the country with peaceful talks of the president stepping down

-We had a good holiday filled with lots of rest

-Everyone seems to be on the back end of the mini "cold season" we have had and we are all recovering

Prayers:

-Although there are talks of the president stepping down, no accords have been signed. Please continue to pray the country will have a peaceful change of power.

-Rainy season is coming to an end. Each storm that passes seems to be worse, causing floods and much damage. Please pray that the change of seasons brings some tranquility.

-The 2nd session of school begins on Monday. There will be many people begging for money all around the city hoping to come up with school and supply fees.
